Alicja Bielawska

• Led employment due diligence in an £8.5 million M&A transaction.

• Secured a sponsor licence for a UK construction business.
• Advised one of Poland’s largest listed construction companies on post-Brexit UK immigration rules.
• Acted for frontier workers at a European construction company with applications to preserve UK work rights.
• Secured settled status in exceptional circumstances for a vulnerable individual making a late application.

Alicja’s background in commercial and corporate work, gained prior to qualification, complements her current practice and enables her to approach employment and immigration matters with a strong understanding of the wider commercial context in which clients operate.

Before joining IMD in 2017, Alicja gained experience at a law firm based in the City of London. She also worked for an international law firm in Venice, Italy and for one of the largest regional legal service providers in Poland.

In 2022, Alicja was recognised at the National Paralegal Awards, where she was shortlisted as a finalist in two categories: National Paralegal of the Year and Paralegal of the Year – Midlands & North.
