29 Sep 2026 IMD Corporate acted for a building contractor engaged in a high-value construction project involving lodges and cabins in Scotland. The matter concerned an alleged £700,000 debt said to arise from an informal oral agreement made prior to tender. The dispute raised key issues in construction law disputes, statutory demands, winding-up petitions, and oral contract enforceability.

25 Sep 2026 A UK bank account containing more than £1 million had been subject to an Account Freezing Order for an extended period while a police investigation remained ongoing. The account holder, an international client with business interests in several jurisdictions, had attempted to obtain an explanation and provide supporting evidence directly to the investigating authorities but was unable to make meaningful progress.
