Alternative Dispute Resolution Solicitors

Our alternative dispute resolution solicitors help businesses resolve conflicts quickly and strategically through methods like negotiation, mediation and arbitration, delivering cost effective, commercially focused outcomes while minimising disruption to operations and key relationships.

How Our Alternative Dispute Resolution Solicitors Can Help

Disputes are an inevitable part of running a business, but court proceedings are not always the most effective way to resolve them. Alternative dispute resolution (ADR) offers businesses a faster, more cost efficient and less disruptive way to settle disagreements. Methods such as negotiation, mediation and arbitration allow parties to reach commercially focused outcomes.

Our alternative dispute resolution solicitors work with businesses to resolve disputes efficiently and strategically. We focus on protecting your commercial position while minimising disruption to your operations and key relationships.

To arrange an initial consultation, contact IMD Corporate on 0330 107 0107 or request a free call back today.

Our alternative dispute resolution solicitors support businesses from the earliest stages of a dispute. We begin by assessing the issue in detail, reviewing contracts and relevant documentation to understand your position and identify the most effective resolution strategy.

We advise on whether ADR is appropriate and which method is best suited to your circumstances. From preparing your case to managing communications and representing you throughout the process, we provide clear, commercially grounded advice at every stage.

We can assist with:

  • Assessing disputes and ADR suitability
  • Reviewing commercial contracts and supporting documentation
  • Preparing negotiation and settlement strategies
  • Managing communications between parties
  • Representing you in mediation, adjudication or arbitration

Our solicitors take a solution driven approach, helping you resolve disputes efficiently while avoiding unnecessary escalation.

Our Alternative Dispute Resolution Services

We provide support across all forms of ADR, helping businesses resolve disputes effectively:

  • Commercial Negotiation
  • Mediation Representation
  • Arbitration Proceedings
  • Adjudication
  • Settlement Agreements
  • Shareholder and Director Disputes
  • Commercial Contract Disputes
  • Partnership Disputes
  • Cross-Border Dispute Resolution
  • Pre Litigation Strategy and Advice

Negotiation

Negotiation is often the first step in resolving disputes and involves direct discussions between the parties, either informally or through solicitors.

Our solicitors support businesses in achieving favourable outcomes through structured negotiation, helping resolve disputes quickly and cost effectively.

Mediation

Mediation involves an independent third party facilitating discussions between the parties. The mediator does not impose a decision but helps both sides reach a mutually acceptable resolution.

This approach is particularly effective where maintaining commercial relationships is important. Our solicitors prepare your case thoroughly and represent your interests throughout the process.

Adjudication

Adjudication is commonly used where a fast decision is required, particularly in sectors such as construction. An adjudicator reviews the dispute and delivers a decision within a short timeframe.

Our solicitors guide you through the adjudication process, ensuring your position is clearly presented and protected.

Arbitration

Arbitration is a more formal method of ADR, where an independent arbitrator makes a binding decision. It offers a private alternative to court proceedings while still providing a definitive outcome.

We represent businesses throughout arbitration, ensuring a structured and effective presentation of your case.

Resolving Disputes Without Litigation

ADR provides businesses with greater control over how disputes are resolved, allowing for quicker outcomes, reduced costs and less disruption.

We focus on achieving practical, commercially aligned solutions. We aim to resolve disputes at the earliest opportunity while safeguarding your business interests.
