Acted for the Defendants in successfully setting aside a stay application and ultimately striking out a $150 million claim brought in the High Court by a prominent Russian oligarch.

• Kazakhstan Kagazy Plc v Zhunus [2014] EWCA Civ 381

Represented the claimant in resisting a Court of Appeal challenge to a £72 million worldwide freezing order against two former shareholders.

• European Union v Bank Mellat (C-176/13) & Bank Tejarat v Council of the European Union (T-176/12)
