Karol Prokopczuk

Karol is the First Response Team Manager at IMD Solicitors and leads the team responsible for handling new enquiries across the firm. Supporting both English and Polish-speaking clients, he plays a key role in ensuring that prospective clients receive a prompt, professional and supportive response from their very first interaction with IMD.

Working at the forefront of the client journey, Karol is responsible for helping clients access the legal support they need and ensuring enquiries are directed efficiently to the appropriate teams. He is committed to delivering a positive client experience and understands the importance of clear communication, responsiveness and empathy, particularly when individuals are seeking guidance during important or challenging circumstances.

Before joining IMD, Karol developed extensive customer service and people management experience as a restaurant manager. This background helped him build strong communication and relationship-management skills, which continue to underpin his approach to client care and team leadership. His ability to engage with people from a wide range of backgrounds allows him to build trust quickly and create a welcoming experience for clients from the outset.

Karol works closely with colleagues across the firm to help ensure a seamless transition from initial enquiry to legal instruction. His focus is on maintaining high standards of service, supporting his team and helping clients feel informed, valued and confident in the support available to them.

In addition to his day-to-day responsibilities, Karol is an active member of IMD’s Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Committee, supporting initiatives that promote an inclusive and welcoming environment for both colleagues and clients.

Outside work, Karol enjoys building relationships with people and values opportunities to engage with different cultures and communities, reflecting the client-focused and inclusive approach he brings to his role at IMD.
