Izabela Brach

Iza is a Senior Legal Cashier within IMD Solicitors’ busy accounts team, playing a key role in the day-to-day financial operations of the firm. Working closely with the Practice Manager and colleagues across the business, she is responsible for a broad range of finance and compliance functions, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the firm’s accounts department.

Her responsibilities include client account management, banking transactions, reconciliations, billing, supplier payments, financial reporting, compliance monitoring and cashiering processes. Iza also supports the training and development of colleagues, sharing her knowledge and practical experience to help maintain high standards across the team.

Colleagues regularly rely on Iza for guidance on billing and accounting matters relating to client files, as well as for advice regarding Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures and compliance requirements. Her approachable manner, attention to detail and strong technical knowledge make her a trusted point of contact for both legal and support teams throughout the firm.

Committed to continuous professional development, Iza has completed her Legal Bookkeeping Certificate and has since further enhanced her expertise by obtaining the VAT & International Services Certificate. She remains dedicated to expanding her knowledge and keeping up to date with developments affecting legal finance and compliance.

Originally from Poland, Iza is fluent in both English and Polish, allowing her to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

Outside of work, Iza enjoys gardening and spending time at her allotment, where she enjoys growing a variety of vegetables. She also loves spending time outdoors with family and friends and making the most of nature whenever possible.
